The power of words, actions that follow them.

The power of words, actions that follow them.

Today, there is a deep-seated distrust and despair in words.

Simply put, words have lost their power.

In a classical interpretation, words have the power to pierce reality. The power to break through the 'phenomena' and see the essence hidden behind it.

When words penetrate reality, they exert great power on those who speak them and those who hear them. Because it can question the rulers about whether they are deceiving the truth and make their words ineffective.

When people stop listening to their rulers, government can no longer work. Therefore, training to penetrate reality more deeply through discussion and criticism is essential.

It is not because words have lost their power to penetrate reality. Rather, the more the words penetrate reality, the deeper the cynicism and despair. Despair at this time comes from the fact that words are only words, no matter how much they see through reality.

This is because the horse has lost the 'magic power' it had over reality, in exercising or controlling power. It was discovered that words are just words.

A word must be followed by a check when it is fulfilled, or an apology when it is not. In other words, whether a promise is kept or not, a word can only exert its power when it is followed by an implementation. The current cynicism and despair are inevitably the consequences of becoming a society in which nothing is implemented.

The more cynical and mute we talk about, the more we lose our ability. It is the ability to speak of one's private experience as a public issue. The loss of this ability leads to the severance of the relationship leading to a crisis in politics and the political community.

It is difficult to listen to other people's stories, and they are unable to translate their own stories into the language of public issues.

He knows how to talk about his private experiences only with his own pain, but he cannot translate it into a 'language that deals with public issues' that other people can listen to. Also, flipping this over means that you can't hear other people's stories in public. Neither the speaking mouth nor the listening ear is capable of translating the private into the public. As a result, they cannot share their own experiences and cannot refer to the experiences of others.

Being someone's reference point means that our experiences have social value, and when we become someone's reference point, we can only acquire a social presence and stand as a public being. But now, the opportunity to create the ability to make one's public being is gone.
