A great person is a person who has well protected his good nature from worldly greed, and a person who has protected the pure heart of a child.


A person who has lived after profit and greed is a person who has not been able to keep his good nature and the good heart he had when he was young.


Mencius says that the reason he did not keep his good heart was because he gave up on himself. It was just that he was desperate. In today's interpretation, desperation means falling into despair and not looking back. However, Mencius says that the failure to keep his humanity is 'injuring himself and giving up on himself'.

"You cannot speak with someone who harms yourself, and you cannot work with someone who has given up on yourself. Anyone who opens their mouth and speaks only exceptions and non-righteousness is a self-harm. He who says that he cannot remain in the self-righteousness and cannot walk the path of righteousness is self-defeating. Forsaken sleep."

In the end, the one who gives up is the one who gave up on himself and gave up on himself, not because of someone else or some circumstance. He can't make excuses and he can't blame anything else.


As people grow up, they learn a lot and gain experience. As knowledge accumulates and wisdom gradually increases, one becomes an adult. It is the responsibility of adults to raise and nurture them.


Children become adults through the protection and nurture of adults, and become members of society who can do their part. But in order to become a true adult, there is a heart that must be protected. It is the pure heart of a child.

The child's heart is in a state of keeping the good nature it has received from heaven. It is a pure heart that is not stained by greed or profit and has its good nature intact. Also, the child's heart is humble. He doesn't boast of knowledge or status, and he doesn't look down on others with it. I do not criticize others recklessly, nor do I use others for my own gain. It is the heart of a child that can treat people as genuine people like this. If you exalt yourself because you are old, because you have a lot of status or wealth, and because you have worldly honor, you cannot be called a true adult.

A true adult is a person who is not swayed by life experiences and years.


A life where yesterday and today are different, a life where today and tomorrow are expected to be new,
