Pain is what I raise,
Pain is what I raise,
Pain is what I nurture. Avoid the second arrow!!
"No one can escape an arrow as long as he lives. But the emotional pain it causes is up to us."
Loss and failures, disasters, trials, sufferings...
It is an essential part of life that accompanies the lives of all who live in the world.
It happens to everyone, but everyone has a different way of accepting it.
The first arrow that flew towards me was an event that actually happened.
The second arrow is the emotional response of the individual interpreting the event.
Every time we get hit by the first arrow, we immediately start shooting a second arrow at ourselves.
Most of the pain is aggravated by the emotional response to the actual event rather than the event itself.
Pushing one's own life into the abyss is the second arrow I have shot at me.
"When you get hit with an arrow, feel the pain, but don't exaggerate the pain."
- pour
The ordeal that flew to me should be seen only as much as the appearance of the ordeal.
Helplessness, despair, sadness, melancholy...
My second arrow, shot at random in a small ordeal, is called a snowball of pain.
The pain eventually grows because of me.
Create a gap between the first and second arrows to make them aware that they are necessary.
If the arrow has already been shot, pull it out firmly.
"Forgiveness is not about freeing the person who hurt you. It is about setting yourself free from resentment, anger and hatred towards that person."
- Kalu Rinpoche
It requires a strong will not to sacrifice one's life for external affairs.
Will I shoot myself a second arrow?
