The Secret of Evolution

Could there be life on so many exoplanets orbiting other stars? Could extraterrestrial life be carbon-based organic matter like on Earth? How similar would extraterrestrial life look to life on Earth? What else?

Trying to know the nature of life on Earth and trying to confirm the existence of extraterrestrial life are actually two ways to solve a single question. The question is 'Who are we?'

We often hear admiration for the fact that the Earth has perfect conditions for the emergence and habitation of life. It seems that the conditions necessary for human life, such as an adequately maintained temperature, liquid water, and an atmosphere containing sufficient oxygen, are perfectly provided on Earth. But this comes from a confusion of cause and effect. Earth's natural environment seems to provide excellent conditions for mankind because all living things were born on Earth and have been raised there for a long time. All the species that did not adapt to the earth's environment disappeared among the early living things. We are descendants of well-adapted organisms.

All living things on Earth are closely interconnected.


Livestock, fruits, trees, vegetables, etc. For thousands of years, humans have carefully selected which species of plants and animals to grow and which to kill. Contrary to the expectation that all species were natural selection, the characteristics of many species were also created by humans. Humans unwittingly interfered with natural selection and made an artificial selection.



Natural selection, in which Mother Nature selects species more suitable for survival. Artificial selection, selection by humans.


This is how the diversity and beauty of the living world all came about. Evolution is a reality, not a theory.

The secret of evolution lies in death and time. Sufficient time to sustain the death of countless creatures that have poorly adapted to their environment and the tiny mutants that have accidentally adopted. The long time for favourable mutant forms to slowly accumulate is the secret of evolution.


Humans are distinctly different from trees on the outside. Undoubtedly, humans perceive the world in a different way than trees. However, if we take a closer look at the core of life phenomena, we will see that trees and humans perform fundamentally the same chemical reaction at the molecular level to conduct life activities. The point of using nucleic acids to pass on the genetic traits of one generation to the next is the same as that of trees and humans, and the use of proteins as enzymes that control chemical reactions in cells is the same. More importantly, trees and humans use the same blueprints to turn nucleic acid information into protein information. In this respect, all living things on earth are no different.


The molecular homogeneity exhibited by life phenomena suggests that all living things on earth originated from a single origin. It is the conclusion that all living things on Earth, such as trees, humans, and the parasite, converge to a single ancestor when going back to the past.

Just as a butterfly flapping its wings all day knows that a day is an eternity, so do humans.
