the power of questions

the power of questions

Questions constrain observation and thought.

The question is constrained. To limit means to set limits. Questions limit your thinking and your answers.

A question becomes a frame. It works to filter what information is allowed into the frame. In other words, questions constrain thinking.

The question itself constrains the answer, and the thought process itself. The question is: "What questions are we obsessed with?"

Questions reinforce assumptions and assumptions.

Certain questions reinforce our experiences in certain ways.

What are the premises and assumptions hidden in the question?

Questions promote inquiry.

The question becomes a frame and creates a space that must be filled with answers. Questions are a sign that there is empty space. It is painful to remain empty, to be aware of ignorance. It makes you want to get out of that state quickly.

What is the question that made me who I am today?

And what else to ask?

The question calls for a meeting.

Nothing would be so trivial and monotonous as it would be if you did something by yourself, without being stimulated by the thoughts or experiences of others. (Albert Einstein)

Who gets me out of my accident zone?

Questions vary depending on the person you meet. The questions I ask myself are different because each person has lived with a different position and worldview. And because of that meeting, the questions I have may change, or I may get completely different answers to the same question.

The power of the right question!!!

What questions do I have in my life?
