The importance of unanswered questions
The importance of unanswered questions
It is very important to ask questions that cannot be answered.
Otherwise, we can dismiss the 60,000-70,000 years of the human calendar as an excuse, "The human race who lived at that time did not do anything important at all." In fact, they did a lot of important things.
Hunter-gatherers had a wider and more diverse knowledge of the surrounding environment than most of their modern descendants.
A modern man must have a lot of knowledge in a very narrow area of expertise, but in other vast areas necessary for life, he blindly depends on the help of other experts.
The knowledge of human communities is far greater than that of ancient human hordes, but on an individual level, ancient hunter-gatherers were some of the most knowledgeable and skillful people in history.
Hunter-gatherers have mastered not only the animals, plants, and objects around them but also the inner world of their bodies and senses.
They carefully observed everything in the world for life.
They were also as healthy as marathon runners because they continued to use their body in different ways.
The hunter-gatherer economy provided a more interesting life for people than the agricultural or industrial era.
Today's weavers work from morning to evening, and when they return home they resume their work to sustain their lives.
30,000 years ago, hunter-gatherers went to and from forests and meadows in the morning to pick mushrooms, dig edible roots, and catch frogs. In the afternoon, they returned to camp to prepare lunch, and in their spare time, they were able to gossip, play with the children, and spend their leisure time telling stories. There was no need to deal with automobile or industrial pollution.
Suree-gatherers did not die of starvation or malnutrition. The secret to their success lies in their varied diet. Today, modern people eat a very limited variety of foods and have an unbalanced diet. In particular, most of the calories that fed the pre-modern agricultural population came from single crops such as wheat, potatoes, and rice. Since hunter-gatherers did not depend on only one food, they were less likely to have problems when the supply of that food was cut off.
Also, ancient hunter-gatherers were less affected by the plague. Most of the infectious diseases that have swept agricultural and industrial societies have their origins in domesticated animals and have been transmitted to humans since the Agricultural Revolution.
Among ancient hunter-gatherers, the belief that all places, animals, plants, and natural phenomena had consciousness and emotions and could communicate directly with humans, and animistic beliefs were common.
Just as there are no obstacles between humans and other beings, there is no strict hierarchy between them. Non-human beings are not simply there to provide human needs, nor are they the omnipotent gods who move the world at will. The world does not revolve around humans, nor does it revolve around other specific types of beings.
