The lack of economic institutions alienates and destroys individuals.


The interrelationship between the fragility of the modern capitalist economic system and the enormous human losses that economic failure will inflict accurately reflects Drucker's insight into today's global economic era.


"Human values, human capabilities and fortitude are the building blocks of the institutions that sustain the world. In short, we all have a responsibility to influence and manage the changes that will shape our future."
