Freedom is an active subject, and everything comes from me.

The 'subject' is what I decide and what I judge. A person in a state of self-consciousness who makes self-directed decisions and actions is called a subject. But the problem is not that simple. Rather than a self-consciousness that is usually produced by oneself, each internalizes a universal thought that has already been created in society and thinks of it as 'I'.


We are subjects in that we have the consciousness that we act, we produce, we think, and we judge ourselves, but the consciousness that the subject has is not formed by us but is a universal consciousness that exists outside. It is dependent in the sense that it is internalized.

Although the subordinate subject is a subject, it has not yet escaped from the state of being dominated.


In a true sense, it is difficult to say that it is a subject with complete independence. A subordinate subject is a person who does what the values ​​or ideology that dominates him, not a person who independently constructs and realizes his or her own unique values.

Philosopher Michel Foucault, who spoke of 'subordinate subject' and 'active subject', tells us to break away from this subordinate subjectivity and become an active subject. So, what does an active subject mean?


It refers to the subject who is the only one who is the master of oneself. This person is the active subject, in which all judgments and actions he makes come from his own decisions and he becomes his own master. The subordinate subject is accustomed to the answer because it becomes important to carry out them because the internalized ideology or value is the master. However, since the active subject is the owner, curiosity and curiosity, which are the fundamental foundations that make them themselves, are alive. So you can ask. Therefore, the active subject has the power to show creativity.

The very word 'freedom' is 'from self'. It means you are the owner.


Autonomy, midnight, midnight, etc. around the word 'freedom' all have this meaning. In this way, in order for everything to come from the self, everything other than the self must exist outside the self. And you have to be yourself in yourself. At this time, things other than self are used only as a means to nurture and strengthen the self.

Even if it was first formed from oneself, if it is already fixed and can only play a role of fixing oneself now, it should be treated as already foreignized and should be boldly thrown away. Only in this way can I appear as my master.
