write your emotions

write your emotions

Working requires concentration as much as reading a book. Therefore, the best way to get rid of useless chatter and sentiments in your writing is to do manual labor.

If you move your body to work from morning to evening, you may regret that the flow of thoughts was interrupted during that time. But sit down in your room in the evening and write down your experiences of the day in just a few lines.

It will be more powerful and truthful than writing that is imaginative, but mere lazy fantasies.

The writer must translate his experience of labor into writing, and so must the principles of his own life.

Is there anything more embarrassing than lying down and reading a book?

Learn how to chop wood.

Scholars also have to sweat and experience various things.

The only principle of writing is to tell the truth. These are the first, second and third principles of writing.

The subject is nothing. Describe the mundane with a simple subject, a simple, cheap subject.

Write while your heart is burning.

To drill a hole in the yoke of an ox, the farmer would have to quickly chop down the wood for the yoke with iron heated in a brazier.

Because if you delay even a little, it will be difficult for you to pierce the wood with iron.

A writer who delays recording his thoughts is one who cuts a hole in the yoke with cold iron.

Such a writer cannot burn the hearts of readers.
