Memory, the present can change the past

Memory, the present can change the past

When we remember the past, we remember only a part of the past and forget the rest. But it can be the same if you consider the importance of remembering or forgetting. Remembering doesn't mean it's important and forgetting it doesn't mean it's unimportant. It's like we're not conscious of everything around us right now.

When categorizing past experiences, memory selects some and plausibly assembles them and excludes others. These selections and exclusions are made arbitrarily without objective criteria. It is neither comprehensive nor objective.

They don't know enough about their experiences or memories, they don't know enough about them.

We are living and wriggling creatures. It is subjective. Interest is yourself.

How far do memories hold the past?

Where exactly is the boundary between events and memories?

What is objective truth?

There is no way to find out the objective truth when it comes to memory.

When it comes to memory, there is no such thing as an objective truth in the first place.

There is no objective observer when it comes to memory.

There is no exact story, no complete story. There is no such thing, and there cannot be. As always, there are only partial explanations and fragmentary views.

Still, there are better explanations and perspectives.

Memories are not simply reliving the past.

Memory does not bring back the objective past.

Memory is a tool.

Memory is the guide of the past that guides us into the future.

If you can remember that something bad happened in the past and you can remember why, then to be careful not to let it happen again, that's the purpose of memory.

The reason we should remember the past is not for 'accurate records', but to prepare for the future.

Through the process of changing the paradigm of memory and subjectively and actively re-editing the ambiguous boundaries between events and memories, the difficult and difficult past can become a meaningful past that is essential for oneself.

Through the actions I give meaning to my world, the present can change the past, and the future can change the present.
