 What is Nobility?

We have reached the other side of good and evil, the last chapter, the highest.


It was said to be the highest place, but you could call it the deepest place.


​


The nobility that Nietzsche refers to is not different from 'virtue'.


'Our virtues' are those that best meet our most secret and sincere tendencies or intense demands.


It is also in line with our 'basic will of the mind' to live, grow and reproduce within us, to become rulers within and around us, and to feel ourselves as rulers. In a word, 'our virtue' corresponds to our 'will to power'. 'Nobility' is no different. It is faithful to the 'will to power', which is the fundamental will of our mind.

According to Nietzsche, 'will to power' presupposes a pathos that senses and desires the hierarchy between 'human and human' and 'value and value'. In other words, the will to constantly strengthen oneself and feel as a ruler presupposes a sense of what one wants to distance herself from and what one wants to make a difference. It is similar to the sense of distance that the ruling status feels from those who are subordinate to it or tools. Nietzsche called this 'pathos of the street'. And it is said that only on the 'pathos of the street' arises "another more mysterious pathos", that is, "the desire to expand the new distance more and more within the soul itself" (the will to power).

"Improving the human type", creating a noble human being, and "human self-overcoming" are all based on the 'pathos of the street'. A passion or a sense of distance from the vulgar makes our souls try to move on the noble side. This is how our nobility is born. In other words, this is the history of the aristocratic society.

Therefore, the way for someone to reach a noble human being is not through a 'noble' human story, but through a certain nudity, that is, through a 'will to power' that grows and reproduces and wants to feel as a ruler.

A noble man is one who knows that he is the reason for being.


Noble human beings define 'good' for themselves.


​


Noble man, he is a value creator.
