Spiritual awakening is seeing the world from a new angle. We want a new life, we long for a new place, but first, we need new eyes. Ideas protect us, but they deprive us of much, above all, of wonder. You stop looking at the people and things in front of you attentively, you stop being surprised and not impressed. Only a rational headworks and an intuitive heart stops functioning.
If the world loses its light at some point, you should look at it through the eyes of a poet.
The criterion for determining wealth in life is 'how much you felt and moved and lived'. André Gide says that a poet can be moved by ordinary plum fruits.
A truly rich person is a person who marvels at a grass insect, a flower, a sunset, and even trivial joys and achievements. When we are touched, we are purified, happy, and divine. And you have to be inspired to inspire.
To spread fire to the hearts of others, you must first burn your own hearts.
The poorest person is the one whose inner fire has been extinguished.
What was surprising today?
What moved you or made a ripple in your heart?
What inspired you?
