Heart-beating life, make life match your heart.
Heart-beating life, make life match your heart.
A man died. Upon noticing his own death, he saw God approaching him with a suitcase.
God said
"Son, it's time to leave."
he asked God.
"What was in that bag?"
"Your possessions are in it."
the man asked.
He asked about money, clothes, memories, talents, family, body, soul, and so on.
God said
"Materials like clothes and money belong to this planet. Memories belong to time, talents to the environment.
The family belongs to the journey, and the body to the dust."
"Then I'm sure it's my soul."
"Sadly you forgot. Son. Your soul belongs to me."
The man, trembling in fear, with tears in his eyes, took the suitcase from God's hand and opened it.
The bag was empty.
The man groaned through the rain and his tears wet his cheeks.
he asked God.
"Have I never owned anything?"
"Yes, you never owned anything."
"Then what was mine?"
God said
"The moments that make your heart flutter, every moment you lived your life to the fullest was yours."
Maya Angelou says life is not judged by how many breaths you take, but how many breathtaking moments you have.
You have to live a lot of 'heart-beating moments' so that your suitcase is not empty when you die.
Moments that impress you, moments that match your life to your heart.
The only things you can take with you when you leave this world are those in your heart.
Do you just breathe a little and call it life?
