One of the great characteristics of human beings is self-centeredness.


Man wants to believe that he is a universal being in the world. He wants to believe that his thoughts, preferences, values, and political inclinations are very common sense and are widely shared with others.


The reason for speaking of common sense is to distinguish between the common sense and the nonsensical minority and to believe that the world is made up of the commonsense majority and the nonsensical minority, including oneself.


The desire for normal and common-sense human beings is expanded and reproduced by the bias in the relationship with which they are related.



The reason people don't change their minds is that they have a biased relationship and the people around them don't change. The surest way to tell if someone's consciousness has changed is to see if the people with whom he associates have changed.



Relational bias is closely related to geographic bias. Geographical bias in relationships inevitably leads to bias in consciousness. He is egocentric because he associates with people like him, and because he associates with people like him is because he is geographically close to them.


People who have a lot of money, people who have risen high, and people who have lived their lives with people who have learned a lot, no matter how rational and objective they seem, their view of the world is bound to be biased.


The human case consists in recognizing the bias of consciousness brought about by the bias in relationships and not stopping the effort to escape from self-centeredness. A person of dignity is a person who tries to overcome the bias in consciousness caused by the bias in relationships by putting themselves in various places. A wonderful person is someone who intentionally tries to push himself beyond his geographic limits.



To overcome the geographical bias of relationships and the bias of consciousness, it is necessary to change the place of life with the person you meet. It's not easy to change your consciousness just by making a decision.


In our society, changing the geographical space of life is only viewed as a real estate investment for the education of children. We need to recognize that changing geographic space is changing the people we interact with, and broadening our horizons of consciousness through it.


The best time to move should be when you want to change your mind, not when house prices are falling.
