Pursue unchanging principles to live in change.
Pursue unchanging principles to live in change.
A world that has changed itself...
The technological revolution, the economy battling uncertainty, the fluid relationship between countries... The world is changing at an unimaginable speed.
The speed of an individual's life has also changed at the speed of light.
Our lives are connected with work all week long. The way we worked in the past was to do a lot with little effort. Now many people are trying to do everything alone at once.
But one thing has not changed and will not change in the future. The only thing we can rely on is the fact that there are eternal and universal principles. Those principles do not change. Applies to any era and any place. Just as natural laws such as gravity govern the fall of an object, principles such as fairness, honesty, respect, vision, responsibility, and initiative govern our lives.
Just as the principle of gravity works when you fall from the edge of a building, believing in the immutable principle can give you an optimistic outlook on life. Because if you live by that principle, good results will come. Unlike objects that fall when dropped from a building, we can choose whether to jump or not. We are not unconscious beings driven by impersonal forces. As human beings, we are endowed with abilities such as conscience, imagination, self-awareness, and independent will.
We can distinguish right from wrong. You can look at yourself objectively and evaluate your own behaviour. You can embrace your imagination, not get caught up in the memories of the past, and live with a vision for the future you want to create. The more we use these innate abilities, the greater our freedom of choice. We can choose to make a principle work or not work.
Like wanting love but not doing what will be loved, not trying, and wanting success, many people in modern times turn away from the principles of life.
Our culture is drifting away from principle.
Living in change requires unchanging principles.
