What is Gong?

Nagarjuna Jungron, What is Gong?

All addictions arise when something you valued has disappeared or is absent.

When you realize the wisdom of Gong, you give up all attachments and look at the external situation as it is. This realm is referred to as Jinyeo.

In the state of truth without any attachment, one can see the external situation as it is with a peaceful mind.

If you see all beings as entities with magnetism, you are seeing them exist without a relationship. (...) No existence does not come into being by reason. Therefore, nothing exists that is not empty. <Meditation>

Magnetism is an immutable self-identity.

Nagarjuna speaks of two perspectives.

The gaze that sees everything (including oneself) as having an unchanging identity and the one that sees everything as a result of encountering relationships.

According to Nagarjuna, the latter gaze can only be possessed by those who have realized the ball.

The encounter and scattering of the relationship and the things that arise from the encounter are all empty. (Do not try to read nihilism)

Leading life day by day also presupposes that the encounters of numerous relationships continue.

Without me, how can I have mine? Because I and I do not have possessions, he becomes a person who has no consciousness of me and no desire to possess. <Meditation>

The 'I' (that Nagarjuna spoke of) is not 'I' in the ordinary sense. Here, 'I' refers to the immutable self-called the Atman.

The "me" in my youth is different from the "me" in my old age. Nevertheless, since the word 'I' is used in any case, it is easy to fall into the illusion that there is an unchanging 'I'. That there is no immutable self-caused by a grammatical delusion, this is what Nagarjuna meant.

The claim that "I am not" is negatively expressed as "I am empty". Expressing this argument positively, it can be said that: "I exist through the encounter of numerous relationships".

Of course, to me like this, mine cannot exist. It is because they're all related, so they're just staying with me for a while.

When we thoroughly know that ourselves and what we have are empty, we will be able to break free from useless attachment.

I was obsessed with the youth that had disappeared due to the end of the relationship, and I was just ignoring the nice wrinkles caused by the new encounter of the relationship.

When you look at your wrinkles and reminisce about the many relationships you've encountered, isn't that life more beautiful than a youthful and plump face?
