Stop and look.
Stop for a while and take a look.
Relief is taking away the excess and taking the middle way.
When removing, it must be based on belief and truth and follow reasonable rationale. That way you can take the middle way and make it long. However, it is not correct if there is too much or misalignment in removing it. Since faith cannot be created, of course, there is no way forward and we have to stop.
One thing that evacuation can be beneficial is to get rid of the futile, the superfluous, and leave the essence. The wrong things in the world happen because almost everyone clings to the essentials and the little things. Humans, too, cannot live a truly worthwhile life because they focus on vain things such as wealth, power, and honor, rather than on the values and meanings to be defended as human beings. To get rid of it means to throw away people's vain desires and return to their essence.
A gentleman learns what to take away from himself through the logic of mountains and ponds.
It is anger that cannot control emotions and greed that cannot satisfy oneself. It is to learn and practice the teachings of punishment and lust.
When you see, think of seeing brightly, when you hear, think of listening intelligently, when you have a gentle face, think of being polite, when you speak, think of being sincere, and when you work, you think of respect. When in doubt, think about asking questions, when angry, think about difficulties, and when you see benefits, you think about whether it is righteous. - Analects
If you react immediately to an emotion that you are not aware of, your anger becomes difficult to control. Emotions evoke emotions, so you should be able to pause for a moment and look at your own mind calmly.
"Something is decided only after knowing that it will stop; only after it has been decided can the mind be calmed; after it has been calmed it can be at ease; only after it has been relaxed can it be thought; only after it has been thought can it be attained." -
A man can smartly sense his own presence when he pauses, not when he gets caught up in a passion.
Whatever he wants, he must be able to think. It starts with stopping.
If you can look back and think about yourself with a calm and comfortable mind, you will be able to face yourself being swept away by the temptations of anger and greed.
