Memento Mori,
Memento Mori,
We don't talk about our wishes and fears until we think it's too late, sometimes it's really too late.
Thinking about death ahead of time makes life so much sweeter.
When your loved one is gasping for their last breath, there is no room for other thoughts. At that time, my eyes only darkened, and no famous or prayerful words came to mind. Even if it comes to mind, it doesn't help at all.
Most of us think of death very vaguely, but at some point, we suddenly realize that I, the most precious and irreplaceable self, will die.
It is frightening to think about, but this insight that passes by in an instant changes our lives. When we know that our body will one day die, and we know that we must leave this life, we are different. The moment you realize that fact, you feel the shock and sweet happiness of being electrocuted at the same time.
The beauty of porcelain is within me.
Human curiosity is nothing more than a curiosity felt in a leisurely moment when death is not imminent.
The existence of contradictions that we acknowledge with our heads but cannot accept with our hearts... We cover our eyes and live in semi-denying of death.
All humans fear death.
Concealing death is not universal, but fear of death is extremely common.
Acceptance occurs when rejection no longer works. Contemplating death is actually contemplating resistance.
The death of the body is nothing more than the painless annihilation of the separated self, and our essence extends infinitely like outer space.
"The death we fear the most is actually nothing, because when we exist, death does not come, and when death comes, we do not exist." - Epicurus
After extinction, there is no regret for extinction. There's no reason to be afraid of things that don't even exist. In the state of nothingness, there is no awareness, no consciousness, no memory.
