Human creation, happiness and unhappiness
Human creation, happiness and unhappiness
We seem to be made to compare everything to ourselves and us to everything.
So good or bad luck depends on what we're comparing. So nothing is as dangerous as solitude.
We elevate many creatures because our imagination, influenced by the fantastical images of literature, contains an intrinsic urge to seek something higher. That puts us in the lowest place, where everything but us is better than us and everyone seems more complete than us. It is natural.
We feel that there are many things we lack. But what we lack seems to be endowed on others. Not only that, we give everything we have to that person, and we think of that person as if they were endowed with even any ideal enjoyment of life. Such a happy person is completed, but the fact that such a perfectly accomplished person is nothing more than our own creation.
Conversely, we often find that no matter how weak and troubled we may be, if we keep moving forward with all our might, even if we stagger and walk, we will often find ourselves ahead of others who are rowing on a mast. . And it is only when you stand side by side with others or outrun them that you can truly feel your own emotions.
