Great expression of freedom, dignity.


Humans have a strong need for autonomy. The concept of human rights is based on the premise that every human being has innate dignity. Refugees and prisoners of war deserve help because they have intrinsic worth. Because you are human, you have the right to be treated like a human being. But he says death is a shame because he has no choice.


Is human dignity a core quality we have, or does it depend on whether we exercise control?


People are afraid of losing their dignity as they die.

Just because I chose the method and procedure at the moment of death does not mean that I chose death. Death has chosen me. The idea that humans can control death is an illusion.


People often imagine quietly leaving with full control over their bodies. The ideal of the so-called good death is holding us back. But even if we can't control our bodies, or we can't take care of ourselves, or we can't decide, we can still exist somehow. Your usual attitude and way of thinking will guide your life.


Autonomy is not limited to the body. To think freely and stick to those thoughts even when the body is locked in, is the true right to self-determination.


If dignity stems from innate values, then ageing, disease, and debility cannot influence it. The Buddha's dignity has nothing to do with the disappearance of bodily functions. Rather, it has to do with understanding that bodily functions are always destroyed.


Dignity is the greatest expression of freedom.


 Death is not a question of success or failure, nor is it something to be achieved.


Death is solely up to the individual, and his value is determined by himself.


To consider the definition of death, we must consider the definition of life,


If we are to consider the definition of life, we must be able to think for ourselves the meaning of human beings.
