Face your fears.
Face your fears.
If self-blame is looking at the brick wall of the past and seeing only two misplaced bricks, fear is looking at the brick wall of the future and seeing only the bricks that will be misplaced. When fear blinds you, you cannot see the rest of the bricks that will be perfectly stacked. Then the way to overcome the fear is to look at the whole wall.
There are countless possibilities of what will happen in the future. When we focus on the unfortunate possibility, it is called fear. On the other hand, when we remember that there are so many other possibilities, it is called freedom from fear.
'Your future is uncertain.'
Fear is about predicting what will go wrong in the future. But just by keeping in mind how uncertain our future is, we will never try to predict what will go wrong. At that moment, the fear ceases.
Fear melts away as soon as you become aware of the uncertainty of the future.
