Humans are losing the ability to distinguish between real events and imaginary stories over a long period of time. People value stories that much.


When one gets lost in the story of God, the country, or human rights, the story is connected to their identity or the meaning of life.


With the advancement of technology, it has become more difficult to distinguish between reality and fiction.


The more frequently you check your e-mail using your smartphone or computer, and the more you diligently search for what is happening in different times and spaces, the more you lose your ability to see, hear, smell, and taste what is actually happening. You lose the opportunity to come into contact with the world before your eyes.


If the body or senses cannot meet the reality in front of them, the mind wanders and it becomes difficult to enjoy a happy life.


Human happiness is not determined by objective indicators such as the possession of food or money.


Happiness depends on expectations. When you expect something and those expectations are met, you feel happy; on the other hand, when you don't meet your expectations, you feel unhappy. But when the situation improves, expectations rise.


When humans experience a sense of accomplishment or pleasure, they do not want to be satisfied but want to enjoy it more. As long as there is a desire to enjoy more, there is nothing to be satisfied with.


Humans now have thousands of times more power than in the Stone Age. Have you ever been a thousand times happier?


Humans have a great talent for gaining power, but they can't convert power into happiness.


Human society needs fiction to function well. However, the moment we accept fiction as a purpose or meaning rather than seeing it as a tool, the suffering that will occur is the responsibility of the real us.


Money has no objective value. The value of money comes from the fact that people believe in the same fiction.


The value of things the world says are important, such as countries, politics, and the economy comes from the ability to believe in fiction.


Let fiction function for humans.


Humans should not be slaves to fiction.
