courage to kill death
courage to kill death
The spirit of gravity whispered scornfully at every word.
“You cast yourself high, but every stone thrown must fall.
Oh, Zarathustra. Your stone of wisdom, you stone thrown by catapults, you star-destroyer! You threw yourself too high. But every stone thrown is bound to fall!
Oh, Zarathustra, you have thrown the stone that is supposed to return to yourself and strike you down from afar. But the stone will fall again upon your head."
But I had something that I call courage. This has been something I have ever called courage. This has been killing all my frustrations so far. This courage finally ordered me to stop and speak. "Dwarf! Is it you! Or is it me!"
In other words, courage, aggressive courage is the best killer. Because in every attack there is resounding music of victory.
Humans are the bravest animals. Thus, man overcame all beasts. By sounding the music of victory, humans overcame all suffering. Even though human suffering was the deepest suffering.
Courage also kills vertigo in front of the abyss. Wherever humans stood, there was no abyss! Isn't seeing itself looking into the abyss?
Courage is the best killer. Courage kills even a virgin. Even though sympathy is the deepest abyss. Human beings have a deep insight into suffering as much as they have a deep insight into life.
But courage, courage to attack, is the best killer. This courage kills even death. Because courage says, "Was that life? Okay! Then once again!"
