Be everything in the world
Be everything in the world
“The writer must enter into the character he is portraying. He must go into his body, see the world with his eyes, and feel the world with his senses.” – Alfonso Daudé
The past is like a foreign country that can only be experienced by living in person. For people such as historians, scientists, actors, and writers who live lives that transcend time and space, empathy is a useful thought tool that allows them to see the world through the eyes of others.
Empathy is the perception of the world through another person's body and mind, and the essence of empathy is to become a different person.
Philosopher Karl Popper says:
"I think the most useful way for a person to gain new understanding is 'empathic intuition' or 'empathy'. Getting into a problem and becoming a part of it."
To promote this empathic imagination, the most complete understanding is achieved when I become what I want to understand. To draw a bamboo, I must first let it grow within me.
The essence of empathy is to become something other than yourself.
Understanding and physically uniting with others through empathy means the loss of otherness.
Communication, empathy. This can be a central skill in moving the relationship in which you are helping.
Empathy... It's a stage where the whole world is its object.
Look, imagine, feel, and be it.
