Ask questions and do science.
There are stupid people who claim that the Creator made the world. To say that the world was created is false teaching and should be discarded. If God created the world, where was God before creation? How could God create the world out of nothing? If God claims to have created the world, then he made the world, it is also curious to know what else was created. Therefore, we are only caught in the endless cycle of logic. Bear in mind that the world was not created, and like time, it has neither beginning nor end. It is also based on truth.
- Mahapurana (Great Myth), Indian Jainism, 9th century
There are many theories about the origin of the universe, but most modern cosmology focuses on the theory of cosmic expansion and big bangs. If this hypothesis is generally correct, we face a more serious problem.
What was the state of the explosion?
What was the situation before the big bang?
How big was the universe at that time?
How did matter suddenly arise from an empty universe with nothing in it?
These questions confuse us.
People usually leave it up to God to explain the situation at the singularity and the incomprehensible dilemmas. This is a phenomenon common to many cultures. But the answer that God created the universe out of nothing is only a makeshift. To confront the question of origin head-on, we must solve the question, 'Where did the Creator come from?'
Every culture has its own myths about the pre-creation world and its creation. This naive mythical view of the universe has its roots in the naive imagination that the universe mimics what humans and animals do.
If there is a difference between the cosmological view of ancient myths and the modern big-bang cosmology, it is that science constantly questions itself, tests and observes to verify the truth of its proposals.
By questioning and verifying, the myth that the universe is nothing more than a divine dream can be developed into larger teaching.
The existence of man may not be God's dream, but God may be the product of man's dream. Ask questions and do science.
